Why does the air conditioning system stop working?

Some people may ask this question when their air conditioners quit suddenly or work without efficiency, no cooling or heating. It’s really terrible. 

Here I’ll state some common aspects which cause this problem.

First and most common, the air conditioner is clogged. For no maintenance or no replacing of air filters in long time, the air conditioner is covered by variety of dust or some other tiny things, which influence the AC heavily. You’d better check whether your AC is clogged when it works with no cooling or heating. It’s also easily solved with routine replacing of air filters.

Second, the refrigerant of air conditioner is leaking. The best way to solve this problem is to get the leak fixed. The solution could be easy, just replacing some line, and also could be hard. Sometimes you need to ask the professional repairman for help. This problem happens frequently, so you need pay much attention to it.

Third, the fan motor is broken for its heavy work day by day. Some air conditioners work almost 24 hours per day, and take too much burden, which is not good to the fan motor. When the fan motor is broken, you need to replace it, but sometimes, you need to replace the whole compressor, it’s really a big matter.
