More exactly, it is a higher-temperature body transferring energy to a lower-temperature body via electromagnetic radiation.

The infrared radiation is formed with the help of the emitting body. In fact, we could not see the infrared radiation for its wavelength ranges from 780 nm to 1mm. During the wavelength, naked eyes are unable to see.
The infrared heaters are generally classified by the wavelength they emit. There are short-wave infrared heaters, medium-wave infrared heaters and far infrared emitters. The three are used in different places according to their own features.
The infrared heaters are always used in the garage, warehouse, shop, airport, and some other places which need the heat. If the heaters are installed in the garage, they also could be called garage heaters.
There are several different classifications of infrared heaters according to their special usage.
However, to choose an infrared heater and to install it are not that easy. You should consider the heating area, the air, the windows, the door and other factors.
